PPG_Airfield - Davidstow Flying Club

Airfield & Location

Davidstow airfield has a public highway which runs SE/NW through the airfield. The airfield is unfenced so please beware of livestock, moorland ponies and tourists on and around the runways.

Apart from this, the airfield has plenty of grass and concrete area. The grass is kept very short for us all year round.

Circuit Information

Davidstow airfield is an active airfield and used regularly by microlights, light airfield and other aviation aircrafts.
- - 12 Right hand circuit and 30 Left hand circuit (434m)
  - 24 Left hand circuit and 06 Right hand circuit (479m)
  - 02 Right hand circuit and 20 Left hand circuit (383m)
Be aware of the wind direction which denotes which circuit will be used. This can change throughout the day.
Circuit height is 800 feet

Club House – used by club members and visitors. It is an old hanger which is very close to the parking and take off area. It is a secure and dry building which holds an instructor’s classroom, a kitchen with soft comfortable seats, large gas oven and a large wood burner. No drinking water is available, so please bring your own. The club house has two toilets which is fed by a rain water tank. The build does not currently have electric, but a generator can be used to provide your own electric if required.
